Don't give away are markup amount with sales
Sales that only effect printing cost can give away markup amounts. I would like 2 things to fix this problem
1) at least 3 days notice of sales that only effect print cost
2) ability to upload csv file to go into effect at time of sale
in this way i can adjust my markups to result in nice sales values that do not give away what my markup is.

Because of current limitations of Co-Creator models and variants, I anticipate the need to upload the customers model to shapeways and having it shipped directly to the customer. In this case, the customer pays through MY web site and there is no markup on the model I upload and have shipped to the customer.
Clearly, I would like MY COST to be suppressed from the shipped product.
I could set the markup on the part, so the customer would see the total price, but, then I would pay the 3.5% PayPal fee TWICE! Once when the customer pays on my site, and second when shapeways sends me my markup. Clearly, this is stupid!see: "Product Variations - allow a product to have multiple variations (ie. sizes)"

Yes the -100% - 100% discount range (compared to Shapeways discount) would be perfect for everybody. Currently default is 0%.
The question is do we want such a variation by product+material, by product, by material or by shop ?
I think by shop should be enough. -

I think mctrivia's suggestion is very clever. Personally I would like to use the 100% option, Shapeways sales always increase my sales a lot and I would like to pitch in and give up some markup myself.

or maybe add "On sales reduce markup by x% of sales discount"
where 100 would reduce your markup by same percentage as sale and -100 would keep your sale price the same but provide you a higher markup. This may be better option as this way you do not need to give advanced warning and we don't need to manually make changes.
