I cannot seem to edit my co-creator on an item? What am I doing wrong?

A lot of sellers are printing the models they are selling. Tested models+Great pictures= more sales. Could Shapeways help the sellers, for instance by offering them a free shipping coupon ?

Wouldn't it be an idea to give a (progressive) discount on start up costs when you order more than one item and/or your total order exceeds a certain amount.

Especially when ordering a silver model which consists of several parts, the amount of start up costs is relatively high. With a system as described, ordering multiple silver parts would be much more attractive.

There is a huge choice of "train" models, while that's great, this can lead the casual model railroad buyer to have a frustrating user experience. This category is now a mixed-bag of everything scale railway related in a lot of different scales.

I'm wondering if adding some sub-categories, for instance scales, could be an option (1:45,1:76, 1:87,1:160,1:220, other scales) ? This would be the most logical step.

Or maybe just add three subcats ("rolling stock","accessories","vehicles") in the "Train" category ?

I would like in my user profile to have a blacklist of makers who's goods will be
excluded from my view when I browse or look as a potential customer.

I don't want to cause any negative feedback, I would just rather not see what
is offered by certain makers out of lack of interest for any of many possible reasons.

As I read the Tutorials about Solidworks and how to export to .stl files, I missed any hint regarding the Licence of those Student editions.

If anyone would read the Licence of those educational editions, he could find a paragraph which clearly forbids any commercial use of the Program and its models.
This would make any of those models sold in a shop illegal.
So I would like to see a note on the tutorials page which hints at those legal issues.

Should be used in a more intelligent way:
The four items could be used as:
previous item of the designer | next item of the designer
(thus allowing also to loop around in the item view mode)
customer defined item 1 , customer defined items 2
(this items should be editable by the shop owner and can be used for:
- generating a loop of selected topics
- connect similiar items
- connect multi item pieces

During the last updates the sorting criteria "Most popular this month" got lost.

This was a very nice feature to check if new items or advertisment shows any results in additional acitivities on a certain item.

the properties "flexibility" and "transparency" should have an inverse direction for the sliders: the more to the right, the more flexible/transparent.

Place a small box near " Add to Cart " that allows customers to choose Qty' before adding to cart. Yes, there maybe the function like "sets", or customers can choose Qty' after adding to cart. But I feel these are not convenient, as many of us are used to select Qty' before adding to cart.

Hi I would love an option to specify dates and dowload an excel spreadsheet of the orders that I have placed (combined in a single spreadsheet). This is because I order quite a few of my own products and it would be very helpful for my accounting.

I was disappointed to find out that Frosted Ultra Detail was misleading... and I think many others have, too. please rename this option.
I was expecting it to be frosted consistently in coloration or texture, like frosted glass... it turns out that it is only half "ultra detail" and the other half "frosted, crappy detail" making it useless for anything remotely sculptural. Half of the detail will be crisp and the other half will be obliterated. Please show examples of this so people do not continue to be misled.

Allow shop owners to offer a voucher for a specific product. The shop owner would pay the Shapeways production cost only (not the markup). This could help shop owners who want to market a product.

Sometimes the material I want is not listed and I can't tell why. I can't iterate a design for a specific material without feedback about it
